Ok! People change.
You are not them. You are not supposed to be like them. You are supposed to be like you and what you like to be. Live your life at your own pace. Do not hurry but never be too slow.
It took me much effort because of you and me.
You: I am referring to the persons, whoever you are, who made me think poetically.
Me: The best person I have.
Do not judge me solely from what you could only read. I am no poem to be read.

“Today: You will be 64% lucky and 36% unlucky”
Horoscopes… Fortunetelling… They will tell about your fortune or misfortune.
I enjoy reading Libre’s horoscopes because they are, most of the time, funny… e.g. Maglaba ka na ng damit dahil mawawalan kayo ng tubig mamaya. Some times they are little pieces of advice that you would really like to take seriously. e.g. Ingatan mo ang wallet mo baka madukutan ka.
There’s nothing wrong in reading or hearing them but relying on them is off beam. It’s only YOU that will make your fortune and mishaps.
A fortuneteller told someone that she’s going to live long (up to her 90s I think) but, sadly, few days after that she passed away. May she rest in eternal peace. Another one… A fortuneteller told a girl that her boyfriend loves her more than she does but few weeks/several days after that they broke up and the guy reconciled with his ex-girlfriend. Those fortunetellers are a fake! Nah… Fortunetelling is not a sanctuary of the definite. It is the refuge for those who wants to get off the beaten track. You go to a fortuneteller to hear how lucky you will be this day, this week, this month or this year. It’s such a nice thing to hear how fortunate you will become, isn't it? That's why fortunetellers are existing.
Some believe that your fortune is in your hands… Take that literally. Palm readers take much effort to give meaning to those lines in your hands. What if you don’t have a hand? Or your hand got amputated? Do they also read the palm of your feet? Do they give meaning to those corns on your toes and feet?
Let’s just wait for the first fortuneteller that will tell your LUCK-UNLUCKY PERCENTAGE. Is there already one?

Making art...
Our Humanities professor told us to create our own work of art. OK! That would pose as a challenge for an artistically perplexed person like me. It has been already half a day that I have been thinking about my assignment and what to draw. Originally, I have decided to use charcoal pencil but that would smudge easily so I dumped that idea and made use of permanent marker.
Subjects started to flood my head but I found it hard to turn them into pictures because I can only feel them and not imagine them. I wanted to draw my everyday life which includes LRT2, jeepneys, roads, books and my sister. Hayst! When I found out that I could never turn them into nice art I tried thinking about what people usually do, what we usually have in common, what we… Wah! It’s so hard…
I tried to draw life and death because I am fascinated with the idea that life is uncertain unlike death. Unfortunately, I failed to draw them. They just remain ideas. Hayst! I even thought of having to pass a blank illustration board.
It’s just this afternoon when I have produced something that really pleased me. I drew outlines of walking people’s feet.

The picture is quite blurred and dark...
I asked my aunt about my drawing and she thinks that it is about different walks of life… Well... WHY NOT?! But it is about traveling. Everyone travels even if you just sit around or lie down. You, together with everyone else, travel in time and in space. I really felt good after I finished my work. At last… At last…
