My Christmas List

My “It’s Me” List

1. I put vinegar in my ham (the popular ham during Christmas).
2. I cut papers and glue them together again.
3. I like crushing pancit canton noodles before cooking them.
4. I do not eat if there is no available water.
5. I do not drink carbonated drinks (except for extreme cases).
6. I usually open the wash room doors using my little fingers (except for door knobs).
7. I close my eyes while walking in our subdivision.
8. I run when I get out of the train just to be the first person to get out of the station.
9. I use pure calamansi juice as a dip for hard boiled egg. Yum… And I would drink the remaining juice afterwards.
10. I usually put my water container in the freezer because I like drinking almost iced water.
11. I seldom use our chopping board when chopping tomatoes.
12. My clocks are usually 25 minutes advanced.
13. I have a hammer with screw driver in my study desk.
14. I talk to myself (sometimes my voice gets too loud that others can hear it).
15. I enjoy sliding down the stairs.

Traipse

Yesterday… Eight days before Christmas…

It was a sudden decision for my classmates to celebrate our Christmas party at SM Mall of Asia. I do not know what they did there but I was pretty sure that I do not like to go there for some reasons. First, it is too far from our house (or maybe I just think so). Second, I only have a few hundreds to spend… Well, in fact I just have a hundred to spend. Third, I do not want to stress myself by thinking what to buy with my money. The fourth and the gravest reason that I thought of that made me not go there was I just like and I think that I am going to enjoy myself…alone…

I went to Metro East just to stroll around and to bore myself. After much dullness, I decided to head to SM. I spent my more than two/three hours walking around the newly opened mall. I even thought of finding myself a nice dress to buy (in my sweetest dreams) so when we go Christmas shopping (I hope) I will know what to buy. But I was too shy to look at the girly dresses so I just went to the toy and children’s apparel section. I also went to a keyboards’ store and my main agendum is just to touch the keys of the keyboard so that I would still appreciate my old keyboard and to tell myself that mine is still better than those being sold. I was pretending that I am canvassing but I was really not. The worst thing I did there was to embarrass myself by playing Fur Elise. Wah! I forgot the notes to play and my hands were trembling badly. After that, I never passed that store again. I was greatly embarrassed! But at least I discovered that I really have stage fright. Well, after that I have nothing to tell myself but “That was so humiliating! I should have not done that! I hope they don’t remember me!”

I got so tired so I was already thinking where to eat and where I could sit for an hour. Taddah! Fiorgelato was the answer. It was the best place to spend my hour because there was this big big Samsung TV which I can watch on. I did not enjoy the movie being played but I had enjoyed watching on that TV.

I got my first sip of my coffee and it was very hot and I think all of my taste buds just died out. After finishing my coffee I bought a green ice cream in Fiorgelato. I don’t know its name but it is…cool and cool…I mean minty and cold (obviously because it’s ice cream). I was freezing to death after I ate it. (Uhm… What a combination… Coffee and ice cream…) I also bought a choco chip [cookie] which reminded me of Chunkee, and a walnut [bar] which reminded me of a Blackforest cake.

I ambled aimlessly but that was very calming for me. I felt so worry-free, so peaceful. It was as if I was walking on my own planet without any nuisance. It was so good.
***…And that was my solitary Christmas party…

Mga Linyang Hindi ko Nasabi at Masabi...

Minsan may mga bagay na hindi ko lang talaga agad nasasabi o hindi ko lang talaga sinasabi kasi nahihiya ako o gusto ko lang talagang itago. Hmmm... Idagdag na rin natin dun yung secret assumptions ko na ayaw ko lang talagang sabihin kasi gusto kong patunayang tama ako without yung "napahiya" factor...

So, ito yung listahan nang ilan sa mga bagay na hindi ko lang talaga masabi sa taong gusto kong pagsabihan."

"Bakit masyado kang involved sa mga ganyang bagay? Hindi ayan ang nagpapa-ikot sa Earth."

"Yuck. You are so gross."
"Liar... You are a liar... A psychopathic liar."
"Sana malaman mo kung gaano kalala yang ugali mo."

"Thank you."
"Bakit ka ganyan?"
"Pinagbabayad mo pa ako? Samantalang parang dial-up ang connection ng Internet niyo. Hindi ko ng ma-load yung Yahoo!"
"Ang dark naman ng place na 'to. Parang pwede akong kidnap-in sa shop na 'to."

"Sinong kinakausap mo? Ako ba?"
"Hindi mo ako kilala."
"Bakit lagi mong sinasabing nagbago na ako?"

Yung mga ibang bagay ay hindi ko na masabi kasi talagang hindi ko lang talaga kayang sabihin. Ang gulo, noh. Basta... Ayun...
