Wow! Challenge ang ganong klaseng inuman.
Ano na lamang ang kanilang pag-uusapan?
“Pare, teka, natinik ako.”
“Kumusta na nga pala kayo? Masyado akong busy sa paghihimay kanina eh.”
“Gusto ko yung bandang buntot.”
“Pare, subukan mo itong ulo, masarap ‘to!”

ABA! May tawag.
“Bakit ka tumawag?”
“Ikaw nga yung tumawag eh.”
HUWAT?! Ako?! Cancelled agad ang call. Gr! Huhu!
Nasa abangan na ako ng jeep. Puro Crossing at JRC. HAY! Mas mahal pa papunta! Kapag pauwi, same route, eh 25 pesos lang! Hindi na ako nakipagtalo kay manong driver.
Naiinis talaga ako nung Tuesday. Speechless ako. Ayaw kong magsalita. Tulala.

How will you call this?
I greeted a former schoolmate and energetically said “Hello!” Oh, don’t forget that I waved at her… We have an impersonal relationship; we don’t talk to one another.
LRT2 is a staple transportation for me and many other travelers. Usually, I see former schoolmates there and there is some sort of force that obliges me to greet them and I would normally find myself saying hello, flashing a smile or raising my eyebrows like any other typical Filipinos. But when we were still in the same school we would normally snob each other. So, is it hypocrisy?
*sigh*
My point is why is it just now that we would greet each other?
How will you call that? Mmm… Is it good or bad?

Have you heard about the Happiness Equation?
Smart guys do smart things. Imagine… They even formulated an equation to measure the intensity of happiness you get from a certain thing.
I really never pondered on how happy I am. Have you ever wanted to know the figures that will tell how happy you are?
I can get pleasure from simple things which others may tag as boring.
As I, together with Jep, was walking I saw the big red National Bookstore sign in one of the corners of Centerpoint and remembered something. I told Jep that I really had fun when we stayed at National Bookstore to waste some time. How happy was I that time? Mmm…
“Mahirap pasiyahin ang mga taong mabababaw.”
“Bakit?”
Who agrees with him?

The Guilt of Spending
I do not like to spend money because I feel guilt afterwards except when I buy foods.
Going to Centerpoint was not in my plan last Friday (Sept. 1). Jep just asked me to go with him because he wants to see Keirstine dance. I pretended not to have money. I just watch them as they enjoy. Luckily, Vera invites me to play a sort of basketball game so I get to enjoy a little bit. Another lucky instance was when Virge (pronunciation: verj) treated me to a game which I call “Catch the Bouncing Balls.” I think I did catch at least 10. I got several chances to play four kinds of games…for free… Thanks guys!
I spent a little after the whole day. I played, slightly danced, raced, watched and was amazed.
I was going home and I rode an FX to get a time to relax… (That’s what I thought, it’s hot inside!) I was looking at the grasses which burgeoned from the sand and I was pondering.
It was fun.
Spending a little to enjoy a part of your day is not bad after all. Ü
